Men can be such hypocrites!

December 28th, 2005 by princess-sandra
Men can be such hypocrites! Sorry boys but its true.  The biggest issue is threesomes.  The ex-boy called me today to tell me about a dream he had, of course he was having a threesome in it.  He asked me if I would ever have one.  My answer to this question has always been, "You can have yours after I’ve had mine." In other words I want two men pleasing me and why not!! Why do guys think they should be the only ones who have their fantasies brought to life? I don’t want to see another woman naked and more then men want to see another man naked.  Then again if a man was secure in himself then it wouldn’t bother him.  Its for the same reason’s I won’t do it that he won’t.  I’m sorry but I don’t share well, especially when it comes to the man I’m sleeping with.  I don’t think its that hard to understand, do you?   Let me know what you think.
"I should clarify.  I don’t actually want a threesome with 2 men but I don’t believe its fare for the men out there to expect us woman to give into their fantasies. Of course it would be nice if there was another man waiting in the other room to satisfy my needs when the first one can no longer keep up. "

Its has been a while since I posted on this blog.  What can I say I just haven’t been in the mood.  My relationship with the new guy has ended before it began.  Not quite sure what happened to him.  He just up and disappeared.  Ah well there are other fish in the sea.

I had the test and they didn’t find anything.  I fainted of course but at least there was nothing major.

Big test Tomorrow

August 24th, 2005 by princess-sandra

Tomorrow is the day.  I have my drugs and I’m ready to head to the hospital.  I’ve been trying not to worry but so many people have been telling me "don’t worry" its hard no too.  I’m hoping everything will be okay.  I know its not Cancer that much I was told but the idea that they might have to remove anything from my body is mind numbing.  Wish me luck.  Keep your fingers crossed that the test finds nothing and it will all be okay.

Boys Boys Boys

Its funny how life is sometimes.  I’ve finally found I guy that I want to keep around and I’m getting proposals from other guys.  Why is it when your finally in a relationship the boys come out of the wood work.  I got a text message from one of my guy friends on Friday night asking if I wanted to hook up.  Bad timing!! As well on Saturday I was trying to find another of my guy friends cause he inviting me to join him if I wanted to and I guess assumed I was looking for more.  I have to stop being such a flirt and tease.

I really like this new guy.  I hope he sticks around for a bit longer. What more can a gal ask for then the perfect gentleman with a staff discount to a book store?! LOL Just kidding Chris, I’d take you regardless.

Toronto Street Festival

July 11th, 2005 by princess-sandra

I finally go my fill of GREAT BIG SEA!! They played live in Down Town Toronto at Dundas Square Friday night.  It was a lots of fun and got my feet moving.  However, my next concert by them will be in more comphy shoes.  Ouch!  We tried to stay to watch the Giraffe Opera but it was a little too slow of an act to follow such an upbeat group.  Instead, Saloni and I decided to go on a hunt for GREAT BIG SEA CD’s.  HMV sold out.  Sam the Record Man…. lets just say it was like the amazing race to the Maritimes section trying to beat the other people to the last few CD’s.  I bolted when I over heard the section was hiding in the corner by the fan. LOL Good times.

Live 8

100_0594 What a blast it was!! Even if I did have to walk through a 2 hr line up to get in.  Take a look at the photos I added to see what I’m talking about.  It was a mess at the start with us walking up Hwy 400’s northbound on ramp but the police managed to get it under control in the end.
Yes I did BOO Celiene Dione, but who wouldn’t.  She’s the only artist who DIDN’T attend a concert in person.  She took up valuable time that "Great Big Sea" could have had.  One song was not enough.  The Barenaked Ladies made it all worth the suffering in the end.  They always put on a good show.  This was one event I will never forget and in 20 years, if they do it again, I’ll be there with bells on.

Things Happen for a Reason

June 28th, 2005 by princess-sandra

Its amazing how one door closes and another one opens.  Just when I think I’ll never meet someone and get asked out on a date, I mean a real one not a night in  the basement bedroom, I walk into the mall and run into an old crush.  What a shock it was when he asked me out!! I admit I’m still a little hesitant but if I take this one slow it shouldn’t end up like the last one.

Friends with benefits means you do the occasional thing as friends.  I told him, the previous guy, it was coming but he didn’t listen.  I’m not going to be open to dating other people if I’m not being taken on dates too.  I’m sure all the folks from Jack’s know who I’m talking about.  The last straw was getting stood up on a Friday night with out even a call to say sorry.  MEN!!

Cuba!!

Cuba44 This was my first trip in about 9 yrs and I had a Blast!! Lovely and I stayed at the Beaches Resort in Varadero.  I read a lot of bad reviews so I was expecting horrid service and even worse food but I didn’t find that the case.  The food was edible and the staff was friendly.  I loved our beach.  May is the perfect time to go to Cuba.  Not as many people so you always have a chair on the beach.  My tan seems to have faded already but I’ll just have to hope the Canadian sun stays with us so I can get it back.

We took 2 day trips.  One was to Cayo Blanco where I swam with the dolphins and ate lobster.  Yum! Our second trip was to Havana.  In Hanava we got to witness the culture of Cuba.  We visited both the old and the new city as well as took in the night show at the Tropicana.  I’ll go again but not next year.  There are far too many places I want to travel to.Dolphins

I want to do this again.  What an experience!!
