I finally go my fill of GREAT BIG SEA!! They played live in Down Town Toronto at Dundas Square Friday night.  It was a lots of fun and got my feet moving.  However, my next concert by them will be in more comphy shoes.  Ouch!  We tried to stay to watch the Giraffe Opera but it was a little too slow of an act to follow such an upbeat group.  Instead, Saloni and I decided to go on a hunt for GREAT BIG SEA CD’s.  HMV sold out.  Sam the Record Man…. lets just say it was like the amazing race to the Maritimes section trying to beat the other people to the last few CD’s.  I bolted when I over heard the section was hiding in the corner by the fan. LOL Good times.

100_0594 What a blast it was!! Even if I did have to walk through a 2 hr line up to get in.  Take a look at the photos I added to see what I’m talking about.  It was a mess at the start with us walking up Hwy 400’s northbound on ramp but the police managed to get it under control in the end.
Yes I did BOO Celiene Dione, but who wouldn’t.  She’s the only artist who DIDN’T attend a concert in person.  She took up valuable time that "Great Big Sea" could have had.  One song was not enough.  The Barenaked Ladies made it all worth the suffering in the end.  They always put on a good show.  This was one event I will never forget and in 20 years, if they do it again, I’ll be there with bells on.
