Good news! Sophie’s found her way home to food. 

Its officially here.  My vacation!! I leave for Cuba tomorrow.  I’m all packed and ready rto go.  I can’t wait to hit the beach.  Turns out my new co-workre is going to be in Varadero as well and staying at the resort right next to mine.  This will mean more people to party with.  She’s a seasoned traveller so I’m sure she will show me the ropes. She goes away every year mean while I’ve wait almost 10 years to go on another vacation.  I won’t be letting that happen again. 

I’ve got my passport, a bikini, my VISA and a spanish phrase book.  I think I’m set.  See everyone in a week!!

Help one lost kitty. 

Sophie is a cute, friendly tabby cat that has wandered away from home.  She has never been out of the house so if you see here wandering around the streets of Hamilton please take her to a shelter.  Shopie has a mirco chip and her mommy and daddy would really appreciate help from all the kind strangers out there.

I’m so glad Friday is over!! I was ready to start drinking on the job.  It was just plain crazy today with all the welfare people coming to cash cheques.  The line never ended and all I do is the business deposits. There were people still waiting after 4:30.  Why can’t people come in early when they know they have a lot to do, it only makes sense to me.  Why wait till 4:25 when you know the bank closes at 4:30? Man do I need a drink!

My vacation had a close call today.  My manager got the date wrong when he sent out the schedule for May.  Had me booked the 16th to the 20th.  Mean while I have to work Saturday the 21st.  No, I think not.  My flight takes off on the 7th so I won’t be at work that week.  What are my parents going to do without me around for a whole week? Maybe my mom will have her quality naked time. LOL

Well not really but its is pretty hot.  I’m calling the cash cage the Tropics just cause.  If only you could tan under florencent lighting.  Someone is suppose to be coming in today to fix the problem.  Lets hope so cause I’m ready to start wearing a Bikini to work which I doubt is part of the RBC dress code.

2 WEEKS TO GO!! Thats right 2 weeks and I will be in Varadero, Cuba.  I cannot wait.  Its been 10 years since Cancun and man do I need it.  Loveliza and I will be staying at Beaches Resort, which is adults only.  This will be my first real vacation too.  My last trip, to Cancun, was with my Travel and Tourism class in 1995.  It was fun but far too structured.  All I wanted this time was a beach, a bar, all inclusive of course, and a place to rest my head.

I’m not even ready for this trip.  I know I should be making a list of what I need and going through what I already have but I’m so used to my parents doing it for me.  LOL Guess I need to get my behind moving a little faster.  I have a bikini, sun block and my camera, what more do I need? ^_^

I’m all Moved in to my new room.  I still have some junk to go through… like my entire closet… but it will get done eventually.

Its about time I went on one of these things other people call Vacation.  Its been ten years since my trip to Cancun and I’m finally going somewhere warm, tropical and with a beach.  I’m so pumped!! This morning Loveliza and I are on our way to Avion Travel { http://www.thetravelhotline.com/ } in Scarborough to book our trip.  Thanks to Paul, yes girls I said Paul, I found this great site.  I’m hoping as RBC staff if we go with Signature Vacation I might get an additional discount. Keep your fingers crossed!

Okay so I’m almost 30 and still living at home.  Welcome to My Generation. I’m not the only one stuck at home with the cost of living sky rocketing and companies not paying squat.  Don’t get me wrong I love my new job at RBC but the banks really don’t pay all that much.  So, to compensate, my loving parents are allowing me to move elsewhere on the house.  I’m finally getting a room where I can have people over without them having to sit on the floor or my bed to watch movies.  The main bonus is the FIREPLACE!! Thats right my mother is giving up her cosy gas fireplace.  It will be so nice to get out of this closet of a bedroom.  Now all thats left is to focus on saving for that house/condo in a couple of years.  Wish me luck!!
